Engineering consists of

The Drawing department, which is accountable for fabrication drawing (the process through which the client’s needs are accurately depicted and distributed to the departments involved).

The Estimate department, which is accountable for estimating the size and costs of the project, for example, the beads, the length and number of parts, drilling holes, and UT and VT beads. 

The Cutlist department, which is responsible for: (i) work on the cutting plan; (ii) control of the materials used to reproduce the fabrication drawing; and (iii) production of the film and programming for the CNC machine.

Coordinators, some of whom are from Japan and China, act as liaisons between the clients and the factory in order to attain the best results for clients.


Stockyard

MCS exports 90% of all its products and thus requires an enormous amount of steel. Most of the steel is imported from Japan and Korea, especially grades SN490B, SN490C, TMCP325B, TMCP325C, TMCP355B, TMCP355C, TMCP385B and TMCP385C, and is separated according to its size. MCS uses a computer system to manage over 15,000 tons of material.


Built Up H

The area allocated to the production of Build up H is approximately 9,000 square meters and contains a range of machinery, including: two 30-head planner cutting machines; two CNC cutting machines; two Plasma cutting machines; three automatic build up machines; and five 20-head LINCOLN submerge tandem welding machines.

Our ability to produce steel beams by assembling Build up H at sizes between 250-3,200 mm., with height and width flanges of up to 1,000 mm. and flange plates with thicknesses of up to 80 mm. is unrivalled, allowing us to produce over 4,000 tons of products a month.


Built Up Column

The area allocated to the production of Build up Box Columns is more than 9,000 square meters  and contains: one CNC cutting machine, three built up box machines, two gantry auto tandem CO2 Welding machines, four gantry auto tandem SAW corner welding machines, one Submerge Welding machine for large box and bridge box welding; eight Electro Slag Welding machines; and eight auto GMAW welding machines. MCS has a diaphragm production line which contains two Band Sawing machines, two Milling machines and three Facing Machines (comprising one 3-meter and two 1.50-meter machines); two Spindle Drilling Machines and a 1,000-ton Press Machine. We are able to produce 10 or more box columns each day or approximately 2,000 – 3,000 tons of products in a month. We can also produce a box for a bridge in a size range of 1.50 – 3 meters and weighing up to 100 tons.
